Marie Yolette Toussaint It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Yolette Toussaint on January 21st, 2014. She has left this world to become a guardian angel to her children, Edwine, Karlyne, Jose, Angeline, and Ludwige (Ludi); her grandchildren, Ayana, Brittany, Choloe, Havier, Colleen, Fabrice, Travis, Ines, Justin, Steven; daughter and son -in-laws, Barbara, Marcelle and Colbert. Yole or "Manmit" as everyone knows her was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti on January 15, 1936. Six days after her birthday, she was taken from us. A multitasker, this retired teacher was an advisor, a confident, a provider and most of all a kind soul. "Manmit" would do without in order to provide for someone else in need. She raised and showed her children the art of giving, first and foremost. "Manmit" was always the shoulder one would lean on if you were in distress. Her calm and sweet demeanor would attract even strangers. She suffered and endured the storm with grace and dignity. To those who had the privilege of knowing her, she was and always be the bright light shinning from above. We will surely miss her; May she rest in peace.
