The world lost a beloved daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, Maria Christina Leyva on July 7th, 2021. Maria battled breast cancer, but it never stopped her from living her best life. Maria was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully. Our mother, Maria, was one of the strongest, most courageous, kindest and loving women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. Her friends and colleagues knew her as a kind and hardworking soul, always willing to bring life and laughter to everyone's day. Maria was born in Havana, Cuba in October 17th, 1965 as the youngest child of William and Emma Santos. In 1984, she met Ricardo, and together they went on to have two children. Maria was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. Maria was predeceased by her brother, Guillermo Santos. She is survived by Ricardo (husband), Daniel (son), Ricardo (son), Emma (mother) and William (father), along with Erin (daughter-in-law), Nancy (granddaughter) and Joaquin (grandson). Viewing and memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 13th at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, FL at 11:00 AM.
