Maria Pena Inoa

On Saturday, January 2nd, we said farewell to Maria Peña Inoa, of 86 years old; adored mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Maria was a woman of faith, full of love and compassion. She had a smile that could light up a room and always treated everyone with kindness. Maria arrived to the US from the Dominican Republic in the 70s and raised nine children along with Eduvigis Inoa, her late husband of 62 years. Her favorite pastime was playing Bingo and she was known in her circles as the Bingo Queen. She also loved taking trips to the casino and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. We love you Mama. Maria is survived by children Celia, Melido, Teresa, Jose, Luis, Melanio, Carmen, Maria, Melida, 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
