Margaret C. Wolf

WOLF, Margaret "Peggy" Margaret "Peggy" Wolf of West Palm Beach passed away peacefully at home on October 21, 2015. She was born in New York City on July 23, 1923, the daughter of William and Margaret Crawford. She earned her BS in Nursing from Manahattanville College, class of 1946. She served her country as a First Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corp., stationed at the army hospital in La Rochelle, France, where she met fellow serviceman Robert "Bob" Wolf. They returned to the states, married and settled in Bergen County, New Jersey. His job transfer with Eastern Airlines brought the family to Miami Lakes in 1971. In 1994, after retiring from her nursing career at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the couple relocated to West Palm Beach. She is survived by her loving husband Bob, of 61 years. Children Bob, of Largo, FL, Lori Fluehr (Chris) of Boca Raton, FL, Maryclaire Pendergast (Gerard) New Smyrna Beach, FL and Chris (Jerilyn) of St. Petersburg, FL. Also survived by four grandchildren Chris Fluehr, Jenna Fluehr, Emory Wolf and Michael Wolf. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday October 28, 2015 at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles, Royal Palm Beach. Internment South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
