Margaret Sophia O'Dell (Harris), affectionately known as Marge, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, in Wellington, Florida. Born on April 20, 1935, in Saginaw, Michigan, she was the daughter of Victor O. "Richard" and Anna Marie (Taugher) Harris.

Marge graduated from Saint Andrew's High School in 1953 and married Robert E. "Bob" O'Dell on September 18, 1954. Their loving marriage spanned 51 years until Bob's passing in 2005. Together, they built a warm and close-knit family that remained at the center of Marge's life.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Michael P. O'Dell, and his wife, Kim (Sposato); her daughter, Sharon A. Elsworth and her husband, Gary; and her cherished grandchildren: Kaitlin M. O'Dell and her partner Alex Godbout, and Morgan L. Tharp and her husband, Travis.

Marge was also predeceased by her brothers Edward H. and John J. Harris, and her sister Patricia A. Remenecz. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends whose lives were touched by her presence.

After raising her children and during her years in Connecticut, Marge worked at Seaport Fabric and Gifts in Mystic. After moving to Royal Palm Beach (Florida) in 2004 with Bob, she devoted time to volunteering at Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee. Her deep faith was a guiding force throughout her life. As a devoted member of Saint Rita's Catholic Church in Wellington, she found strength in prayer and community.

Visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Wednesday July 22 from 10am-12pm followed by a service at Saint Rita's Catholic Church in Wellington at 1pm. Interment will follow at Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum, in Saginaw, Michigan, on August 6th at 1pm.
