Dr Marcos Ricardo Kornstein

Marcos Ricardo Kornstein passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021. He was born on November 16, 1947, in Colón, Argentina, in the province of Entre Rios, about 200 miles north of Buenos Aires. He was the son of Paulina Pressman de Kornstein and Pedro Kornstein. Marcos graduated from the University of Córdoba Medical School and completed his OB-GYN residency at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. He relocated to Palm Beach Gardens in 1980 where he founded his practice, and in 1998, he expanded to the Western Lakeside Communities of the Glades, Pahokee, and Clewiston. By 2000, he had established himself in the Wellington and Palms West areas where he became a pillar of the community. Marcos' profession was his vocation and patient care were his ultimate priority, delivering generations of children over his career. He was highly respected by patients and co-workers alike. True to his Argentine heritage, Marcos loved to interact with family, friends, co-workers, and colleagues. His optimism, humor and kindness would brighten a rainy day. His laughter was contagious, his jokes were quirky and his love for life, family and friendship were immense. We will always carry his memory with great fondness in our hearts and sadness from the day he passed. Marcos is survived by his beloved wife Caroline, daughter Frances, son-in-law Cody, his sister Amelia, granddaughters Malia and Keeley, and his two sons. A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 27 at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33411 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a service beginning at 4:00 pm.
