Madeleine Christian, 69, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away surrounded by love. Born in Torino, Italy, Madeleine was adopted at the age of two by her devoted parents, Carmela and Santo Russo, who brought her to the United States and raised her in New Jersey. In 2018, Madeleine moved to Florida to care for her mother. She quickly fell in love with the sunshine, the people, and the peacefulness of her new surroundings, ultimately choosing to make Florida her home. Madeleine was known for her caring and compassionate spirit. Giving, outgoing, friendly, and strong-willed, she touched the lives of many and formed lasting bonds wherever she went. Throughout her life, she worked as a hairdresser and as a Certified Nursing Assistant—two roles that perfectly reflected her warm heart, skilled hands, and desire to help others feel cared for and seen. She had many passions that brought her joy: gardening in the Florida sun, spending time with her beloved dogs, admiring cars, swimming, and surrounding herself with friends and family. Those who knew her will always remember her bright presence and her unwavering love. Madeleine is survived by her daughter Amanda and son-in-law Devin; her son Albert and daughter-in-law Cheryl; and her cherished granddaughter, D'Amoura. She is also survived by her brother Michael, as well as a loving extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Madeleine's legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering strength. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
