Louise K. Mckenna

On Friday, May 27, 2022, Louise ("Weezie") Kelly McKenna, beloved mother, sister, aunt, and wife, passed away at the age of 76. Her death was sudden and unexpected. Her family and friends are deeply saddened by her passing. Anyone who knew Louise understood what a kind, caring, and generous person she was. Louise was born to George Skovran and Mary Marcinek on June 5, 1945, in Georges Township, Pennsylvania. After High School Louise and her friends moved to Washington, D.C. to pursue careers with the Federal Government. She often shared entertaining stories of her experiences while living and working in the nation's capitol. Louise retired from Palm Beach County with +30 years of service. She enjoyed working for the County and was a proud Golden Palm Award recipient. She built many lasting friendships with her former County colleagues. Louise spent her free time reading, scrap booking, and paper-crafting. During many holidays Louise would craft hand-made one of a kind greeting cards for her friends and family. Louise was a faithful member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. She often volunteered at church functions and events. She is survived by her sister, Delores F. of Hopwood, PA; husband Ronald; her son Steven his spouse Christine; and her step-children Frank, Ruth, Brenda, Travis and their families.
