Louis M. Latona, 93 of Lake Worth, Florida passed away on May 9, 2021. Louis was born on August 10, 1927 to Joseph and Concetta Latona in Harding, Pennsylvania. He was raised on his family farm until moving to Oak Street in Pittston, Pennsylvania. Louis served in the US Navy in 1945-1946. He married Jennie Mirisola on September 2, 1950 and they made their home in Hialeah, Florida before retiring to Lake Worth. They were wed for 57 years until her passing in 2007. He began his career as a car mechanic and achieved the position of the Supervisor of the US Post Office Vehicle Maintenance Facility in Miami, Florida. He is survived by his daughters, Connie Schaeffer (David) and Mary Ann Nadler (Jerry), grandsons Richard Cardini, Micah Nadler, Joseph Nadler, granddaughter CaryAnn Matson (Jeff) and great granddaughter Emily Matson. Louis had many interests and hobbies including car mechanics, golfing, fishing, bike riding, traveling, gym membership, wood-working, socializing with family and friends and lending a helping hand to others. Louis will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
