Louis Gomez, 45, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2025, in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Born on August 5, 1979, in New York, Louis grew up in Royal Palm Beach, FL. He met the love of his life, Erin, in 1999. Together they built a life centered around family. As a dedicated barber and owner of Lou's Spot Barbershop, he took pride in his work, forming lasting connections with those who frequented the barbershop or sat in his chair. His skill, warm presence, infectious smile, and commitment to morality made him a trusted figure in his community and a friend to many. Louis is predeceased by his father, Louis Gomez. Louis is survived by the love of his life of 26 years, Erin Gomez, sons - Louis Gomez, Dominic Gomez, Rocco Gomez, and Nate Anderson; his loving mother, Grace West (Jack West), siblings - Rosemary Little Acosta (David Acosta), Michael Gomez, Christina Gomez Cantu (Adam Cantu), Johanna West Villa, and Christopher West; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His devotion to his family was unwavering, and he cherished every moment spent with them. A lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, Louis found joy in cheering for his team through victories and challenges alike. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious to those around him. Louis was known to always live life to the fullest. A viewing will be held on March 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palms West Funeral Home, located at 110 Business Parkway, Royal Palm Beach, Florida, 33411. A service will follow at the same location from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Burial to follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery. Louis will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
