Our Mother, Lorraine Rossi passed away on December 24 in West Palm Beach, Florida, after a long full life before a recurring battle with cancer. She was 88 years old and deeply loved by her family and friends. Lorraine was a wonderful, generous and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was one of us girls always happy to shop and go for a nice lunch or cook meals on a Sunday. We all have such love in our hearts for her and she will be so deeply missed. Always creative, she had a gift for home decorating, crafting and shared her talent teaching ceramic classes for many years. Socializing and dancing at the local Italian and German Clubs in her area was something she enjoyed very much. She was a former resident of Aberdeen in Boynton Beach and had before that resided in Chicago's Garfield Ridge area until 1994. Preceded in death by husband James Rossi (CFD), Daughter Katherine, Bothers Gene Kinyon and Larry Spano and Sisters Joan, Diane Felske and Phyllis Montgomery. She is survived by daughters Judith, Laura (Oates), Jeanne (Mark Rossetti), Patricia and Susan (Mark Houser), grandchildren Joseph, Matthew, Lindsay, Timothy, Nicole and Jessica. A great joy in her life were her great grandchildren Axel, Rylan and Autumn. Lorraine had a large extended family in the Chicagoland suburbs and is also survived by Sister Judy Mott and Janice Duncan. Services are pending at this time.
