Lois Elaine Wallschlag

Lois Elaine Wallschlag passed away Wednesday, July 05, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Edward G. Wallschlag (July17, 2002), parents Madeline and Gustave (Ted) Mendel, and brother Robert Mendel. Lois was born April 25, 1934 in Newark, NJ. She moved to Palm Beach County with her family in November 1959. During these 57 years she resided in Boynton Beach, Loxahatchee, and West Palm Beach. She made many friends working as a waitress, hostess, beautician, and media assistant at John I. Leonard H.S. She was a member of Red Hats and TAG within the Baywind's community. She leaves behind her brother Thomas Mendel; three sisters-in-law Barbara Henry, Sheri Mendel, and Terry Mendel; four daughters Diane Wallschlag, Susan Peek, Cindy Graham, and Cari Portman; three sons-in-law; six grandsons; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Palms West Funeral Home 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11:11 am. "Count your age by blessings, not years".
