Lois Mary Bannin, 79, passed away on July 22, 2008, at Wellington Regional Medical Center, after a courageous battle with several medical conditions. She is now with her Savior in heaven. Lois was born on August 3, 1929, to Leslie Farr and Vivian Lamore Farr in Glens Falls, New York. Lois met her husband Bob shortly after his return from WWII. They were married at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Schenectady, New York, and moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1956. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, William ?Bob? Thomas, daughter Sheila M. Brodbeck (and her husband Gregory), sons, William Thomas Jr. and Christopher J. (and his wife Belinda), grandchildren Tiffany (Corbett), Heather (Stone), Mary Brodbeck, William Arrowsmith, Tina Bannin & Lyanna Bannin, daughter-in-law, Sandy Arrowsmith, 4 great-grandchildren, Eric Michael (Stone), Sean Patrick (Stone) , Kevin Michael (Stone) and Megan Elizabeth (Stone), and a host of sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and brother, Donald Farr. A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Lois enjoyed raising her children, visiting family, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed decorating, cooking, cross word puzzles, walking, knitting, and laughing with friends and family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday evening, July 24, 2008, at Palms West Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m, with a wake service beginning at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 25, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington, Florida.
