Libia Mahecha-Guevara

On July 23, 2019 Libia passed away at 90 years old. Libia was born on December 18, 1928 in Armenia, Colombia. She had two brothers that are both deceased. She moved to Cali, Colombia and met her forever love Gilberto Guevara. They raised five children, Lilly, Elizabeth, Patricia, Christina and Carlos. Libia had five grandchildren, Leslie, Canela, Andres, Samuel, and Daniel. She also had two great-grandchildren, Nikolas and Luca. Sadly, Gilberto Guevara passed away in 1998 and her daughter Elizabeth in 2013. In the 90's, Libia moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. Libia showed amazing love to her family and friends, and had a generous heart, loved nature, and always helped those in need in her country. Libia loved to play bingo, going on ocean cruises, travel around the world, cook, and listen music. People will remember her smile, courtesy, and love. There will be a memorial service at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach Florida on Sunday, July 28th from 4 to 8 pm and the funeral mass will be at Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola (chapel) on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
