Les S. Gershberg "the General" June 8, 1944 - February 10, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Les S. Gershberg on February 10, 2016. Born on June 8th, 1944, he was 71 years old. Les was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and served in the military. Les valued family above all! He was the best husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. As a diehard softball player, Les was proud to have won six senior softball World Series championships. Les loved playing and umpiring softball as well as playing a good game of golf but Les' passion for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles was in his blood his whole life. Les will always be remembered as a bad ass teddy bear. He will always be loved and greatly be missed. A memorial will be held for our bad ass on February 14, a day of love, from 10:00am - 12:00 noon (Patriot Guard Memorial at 11:00am). The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Wreaths Across America. All funds will go to our local south Florida national cemetery. Make checks payable to: Wreaths Across America and on the memo line write: in memory of Les Gershberg. Mail to: Wreaths Across America % PGR-Alan Cole 2117 E. Palma Circle West Palm Beach, FL 33415
