Lena Rebecca Mccloud

Lena McCloud affectionately known as " Lena B " a native Washingtonian was the daughter of the belated Alfred & Amelia Burrows. She attended Strayer College in Washington D.C. and after graduation she pursued a career in government. She was employed as a legal secretary in the State Department & later was promoted to foreign service in the State Department. She retired after a 30 year career. Her religious beliefs were founded in Christ. Her favorite Psalm was the 23rd. Lena will be joining her grandsons Trevon Burrows and Weldon Mason. She is survived by daughters Patricia M. Nelson of Garden Grove, California, Peggy Solomon of Royal Palm Beach, Florida and Porcia Allen-Franks of Greenbelt, Maryland. Her sons: Charles E. Burrows of Palmdale, California & James T. McCloud of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren & 9 great-grand kids. Memories of Lena McCloud Loved reading until her eyes would no longer allow it. Enjoyed solving crossword puzzles until her eyes no longer allowed it. Was a real TV fan of wrestling, game shows & soap operas. She had a dog named Jaws that was a Pug. They were inseparable until he passed away. They both brought unmeasurable joy to one another.
