Lauren Sue Fountain

Our angel, Lauren S. Fountain, 61, of Port Huron, MI, passed away at home in Greenacres on October 6, 2020. Born on December 29th, 1958 in Colorado Springs, CO after traveling some of the country with her parents, Lauren moved to Port Huron, MI as a young girl. After graduating high school, she moved to Georgia where her daughter would be born, before finally settling in Florida & enjoying the rest of her life, a life well lived. She was known for her huge love of animals, of all kinds, but her favorite were rescues and she would rarely be without one of her fur babies by her side. Lauren spent the better half of her life with her soul mate, Tommie, by her side as they raised countless animals they had adopted as well as working together in their courier business. Lauren enjoyed plants, decorating, and flowers and would almost always have a vase full of fresh flowers in her home. She is preceded in death by her father, Willet Allen Craig; mother, Emma Williams Craig; and the love of her life, Tommie Wade Reed. Lauren's memory & life will be cherished & fondly remembered by her loving daughter, Jacqueline Fountain; and her caring sister, Mary Labadie of Port Huron, MI; as well as her nephews, extended family & friends.
