Laura Spehar (m. George-deceased) is remembered by her children, George Spehar Jr. (m. Donna) of Greer, South Carolina, Katherine Caster (m. Earl) of Wellington, Florida, Karen Macmillan (m. Gary) of Wellington, Florida, Michael Spehar (m. Kelly) of Anderson, South Carolina, Richard Spehar (m. Laura has 11 grandchildren, Nicole Spehar, George Spehar III, Laura Caster, Daniel Caster, Derek Caster, Jessica Kingery, Kelsie Cantrell, Marcy Elliott, Brett Martin, Kyle Spehar, and Caitlyn Wagener. She also has 11 great-grandchildren. She is sister to Sharon Floyd and Jack Edmonson of Cleveland, Ohio. Laura Spehar was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Evelyn and Charles Edmonson August 2, 1928 and was married to her loving husband George Spehar (deceased at 79) for 61 years. In 1969 they moved their family from Cleveland, Ohio to Margate, Florida and loved the Florida scenery and weather. They also loved their beautiful home they had for many years in Hiawassee, Georgia. Laura lived a long, fulfilled life and loved children and babies like no other. She loved reading, music, and to watch her children dance and have fun at weddings and special events. Laura had a great sense of humor and her laugh was like music on your ears. She worked hard all of her life raising her seven children, helping with her grandchildren, and caring for many beautiful, loving homes over the years. The task of keeping a household, raising seven children, and preparing for their birthdays and holiday parties must have been exhausting, but you never heard a complaint. Laura Spehar will be dearly missed, but she is now in heaven with her loving husband and family. She left everlasting memories and like a pebble being thrown in a pond, the wave of love she shared with everyone, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, will go on for eternity.
