Larry Duke, 72, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at home with his wife Judy, daughter Jennifer, and beloved dog Coco at his side on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020. Larry was born in Orlando, Florida on June 9th, 1948. He met his wife Judy in Pompano Beach, Florida. They married in 1971. A loving husband, a caring and giving father, he was so proud of each and every one of his children. Larry is survived by and leaves loving memories to; his wife of 48 years, Judy, Children; Jason Duke, Jennifer Duke Fairchild, Dawn Holbrook, Saundra Kennedy. Grandchildren; Amaris Fairchild, Joe Kennedy, Christina Warfield, Amanda Nope, Ashley O'Hearn, Jasmine Watson, James Holbrook and seven great-grandchild. Brothers; Gary Reams, David Reams, and John Reams. Sisters; Aimee Duke Huddleston, Jeannine Duke Huddleston, and Betty Reams. Sister-in-law Kay Chattergoon, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Jasper Lawrence Duke and mother Hazel Ione Crawford, sisters Rhonda Reams, Susan Brooks. Larry opened his barbershop, The Village Barber in 1985 in Royal Palm Beach. He loved his job and his customers. The barbers that worked for him, he considered family. Larry was a sweet, kind, gentle and generous soul. He was a spiritual guide and mentor to countless friends. He was a man of his word. He loved helping others. He loved his hobbies, tending to his bonsai trees and going to the bonsai clubs, gardening, and fishing. He was dedicated and passionate about anything he set his heart on. Larry, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and are missed beyond measure.
