KYRAN M. MURPHY Of Breakers West, West Palm Beach, FL passed away January 23, 2009. Lived here since 1987 coming from Washington, D.C. He graduated from St. Thomas University, MN and then went to West Point in which he graduated in 1945. After W.W. II he was sent to Austria and in Sept. of 1952, he served in Korea. Were he was decorated with a Silver and Bronze Star. A very successful entrepreneur, he worked for Massachusetts Mutual in Paris. He also worked for Northwestern in Virginia. The Secretary of Energy in the U.S. Government selected Mr. Murphy to teach and train the people of Saudi Arabia about energy and was very successful. He is survived by his wife, Irma Maria Murphy, daughter, Dr. Gloria Grinsley of Baltimore, MD; son, Britt Murphy of Tampa, FL; sister, Elaine Duffy of Campana, AZ Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 27, 2009 with entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to Rev.
