Kirk Mcdowell

Kirk Thomas McDowell Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the age of 71. He was born in Muncie, Indiana on June 10, 1945 to the late Charles and Maxine McDowell. He graduated from Miami Edison High School and continued on to receive his Bachelors of Business Degree from Miami Dade Junior College and a bachelor's degree from Florida Bible College. Kirk is survived by his loving wife Carolyn of 49 years. They were married in Miami on November 25, 1967. Kirk worked as a District Manager for Southland Corporation for more than 20 years. He enjoyed studying the Word of God, being with his family, watching the Dallas Cowboys, listening to music and line dancing. He was a loving Father and Grandfather. Kirk is survived by three children, Shari Robbins and her husband Will, Kirk McDowell Jr. and his wife Stacy, Shawn McDowell and his wife Tracie; his 11 grandchildren Cole, Cameron, Cassie, Kristina, Kailin, Kirk lll, Katie, Corey, Averi, Noah and Jackson; his sister Sally Cade; his brother Greg McDowell; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.
