Kimiko T. Shumate

Kimiko T. Shumate, age 79 of Wellington, FL. was born November 17, 1935 in Satana Machi, Hokkaido, Japan. She was a committed Buddhist. Kimiko passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, and moved on to her final resting place on December 30, 2014. She leaves behind a loving family. Her husband of 54 years, David Lee Shumate. Daughters, Kim Lee Shumate and Sue Lynn Shumate. Three Grandsons, Alexander Brock, David Brock and Jost Rodriguez. She has left us with wonderful memories that we will forever treasure in our thoughts and our hearts. A memorial gathering will be held 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Palms West Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 1:30 PM and inurnment will be at South Florida National Cemetery following services.
