Kenneth Thomas Smith Ii

Kenneth Thomas Smith II was born on March 4, 1949 in Giessen, Germany, to Jane and Col. Kenneth Thomas Smith. He and his siblings, Lorraine and Steve, grew up in different parts of Europe and the U.S. before settling down in Virginia. Ken graduated from Fishburne Military Academy and then moved to South Carolina. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration, and met the love of his life, Cindy. He and Cindy married and moved to Florida where Ken started his own business, ITG Construction, which he successfully ran for decades. He loved being on the water and sailed around the world, "not just to the Bahamas." He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy, and his only daughter, Lauren, along with his siblings, their spouses and children. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
