Kenneth John Danchak—a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and a true friend to many—passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the age of 78.
Born in the Bronx, New York, to the late John and Ann Danchak, Ken carried the strength and character of his roots throughout his life. After serving honorably for four years in the United States Air Force, he dedicated two decades of service to the County of Palm Beach, where his hard work and reliability left a lasting mark until his retirement.
While Ken was a dedicated professional, his true masterpiece was the family he built. He shared 24 years of marriage with Theresa Huto, a chapter of his life that brought forth a legacy of love. He was the devoted father of Christopher (Dawn) Danchak, Becky (Michael) Johnson, and Paul Danchak. His spirit will live on in his grandchildren—Kimberly, Kyle, Josef, and Justin—his great-granddaughter Leila, and his step-grandchildren Jake and Austin. He also leaves behind his dear brother, Michael, and his nieces and nephew, Michele, Brittney, and Marc.
In his retirement, Ken followed his heart to the local auctions. He had a keen eye for the forgotten and the beautiful, spending his days building an extensive collection of antiques. To Ken, these weren't just objects; they were stories waiting to be told. This was his greatest passion, and he found immense joy in the "thrill of the find."
Ken will be remembered for his warmth, his dedication to those he loved, and the quiet strength he offered his family. He was a man who understood that the most valuable things in life aren't found in a showroom, but in the hearts of the people we hold dear.
