Kenneth Tulbert Carlton

Kenneth T. Carlton, 83, of Wellington, FL, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2009. Ken fought during WWII in the Lightning Division of the U.S. Army. In 1954 he began a lifelong career in education as a teacher and retired in 1992 after serving as principal for 26 years. He also served as Chairman of the Board of the Gold Coast Federal Credit Union for many years. Ken?s memory will be cherished by his wife Lynn Carlton; children, Linda Heninger, Joanne (Larry) Gronek and Kenneth R. Carlton; step-children, Bryan and Brent (Bianca) Yohe; grandchildren, Cristy (Steve) Grube and Alyssa Yohe; great grandson, Steven Grube; and Janet Bucarano, who Ken always thought of as a daughter. The family will receive guests from 2 -3 PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Palms West Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ken?s name to JFK Medical Center Foundation, Heart Institute.
