Keely Ann Spinelli

Keely Ann Spinelli, 46, of Wellington, Florida, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008. She was born October 22, 1962 in Erie, Pennsylvania. Keely was the former principal of Binks Forest Elementary School in Wellington, served on the Palms West Hospital Board of Directors, and was the principal of the West Area Literacy Training Center. Because of her passion to teach children to read, colleagues are creating a library at the pediatrics center at Palms West Hospital in her honor. Keely leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Peter Spinelli; son, Andrew Spinelli; parents Dr. Thomas & Mary (Festa) Salopek; brother, Albert (Keely) Salopek; & sister, Cindy (Greg) Guinn. Visitation to celebrate Keely's life will be held 2-4 & 6-8 on Wednesday and Thursday, December 17th & 18th, with a wake service on Thursday starting at 7:30 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 10 am, Friday, December 19, 2008 at St Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church in Wellington. Burial will follow mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests the donations be made in Keely's name to Vitas Hospice, 1901 S. Congress Ave., Suite 420, Boynton Beach, FL 33426.
