Katie Pisciotta

Katie Pisciotta, 90, beloved wife, devoted mother, sister, and grandmother, passed into God?s hands, on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at her home in Royal Palm Beach, FL. One of six Monaco children, Kay was loving, organized, had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed life. A talented saleswoman, extraordinary cook, and animal lover, Kay was a life-long inspiration to her family. She and her loving husband of 65 years, Vincent Pisciotta, attended St. Rita Catholic Church and belonged to the Forever Young Club. Kay?s memory will be cherished by her husband Vincent, of Royal Palm Beach, FL.; her son, Ben Pisciotta, of Port Angeles, WA; her daughter, Kathy Hanna, of Chesapeake, VA; her sister, Mary Catanzarita, of Brooklyn, NY; and her 5 grandchildren. A viewing will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at Palms West Funeral Home, on Thursday, March 26, 2009, with a wake service beginning at 7:30 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11 AM on Friday, March 27, 2009 at St. Rita Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children?s Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
