Kathy Jean Borges

Kathy Jean Borges, 72, better known as "Kat", entered the gates of heaven on December 6th 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. A beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Kathy will always be remembered for her loving, passionate and energetic spirit that touched everyone around her. Born on October 29, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Kathy was the cherished daughter of the late William H. Kamensky and Shirley J. Kamensky, sister to the late William H. Kamensky Jr., sister to Kenneth A. Kamensky, Donna J. Mahaven, and Denise A. Burress. Kathy later moved to Vero Beach, Florida, where she lived for the past 15 years. She is survived by her beloved husband Frank Borges, 70, of Vero Beach, FL. She is lovingly remembered by her sons David Lutsko and Kristoffer A. Neal. In addition to her ex-husband, Johnnie Neal, 72. She was a proud grandmother to Karissa Neal, Jaelyn Neal, and Donovan Neal. As well as a loving aunt to Dana Kamensky, Joshua Mahaven, Micheal Burress, Jake Burress, and Nicholas Burress. Kathy was a vibrant and hard-working woman who loved to dance and sing. In everything she did she carried passion, including her religious beliefs, family, and friends. Anyone who knew Kathy, knew she was very tough and not one to be messed with. Her endurance and support was and is the purest form of strength throughout our family and she will be dearly missed. With all of our hearts we now say goodbye knowing we will see her again one day. A service to celebrate Kathy's life will be held on December 15 with a viewing from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by service at Palms West Funeral Home.
