Kathleen Marie Voren

Kathleen "Kathy" Voren passed away in the early hours of April 23, 2023, at the age of 71 in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Her battle with cancer over nearly five years showed her courage and tenacity for life. Despite her illness, Kathy stayed strong and determined until the end. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Kathy. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight. Kathy was born and raised in Bellingham, MA. Daughter to Theodore and Carole Cresey and middle sister to Carole Moore and Elaine Strout. After graduating high school in 1969, she later moved to Boston with her best friend JoAnn where they attended college classes and lived their lives to the fullest. While in Boston, Kathy met her husband, Howard Voren. Howard had a passion for exotic parrots and soon Kathy adopted this love as well. They later settled in Loxahatchee, FL in 1978 where they built a successful exotic bird aviaries. Together they raised 3 children: Elisha Voren, Stacie Maggio, & George Voren. Kathy had a special bond with her children and loved spending time with them and her 3 grandchildren: Mia Maggio (11 yrs old), Cody Maggio (9 yrs old), and her newest granddaughter Stella Voren ( Memorial service will be held on May 10th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Palms West Funeral Home. Followed by her Inurnment at 3:00 pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
