Kathleen Gertrude Brown

Kathleen Gertrude Brown, 95, of Wellington, FL, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Born in Hanover, Jamaica, West Indies, she was the daughter of Joseph and Rosa (Moulton) Peddie. Mama spent her life taking care of her family and loved to cook, sew, paint and was a real artist in all sense of the word. She was a good wife, mother and grandmother who raised her family and had a very kind and loving heart. After the passing of her loving husband, Austin Brown, in 1984, she moved to the United States to live with her children and grandchildren. Kathleen's memory will be cherished by her children, Aleithea Vernon, Norma (Earl) Winter, Sandra (Alton) Davis and Christopher Brown; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11 AM on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kathleen's name to Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 100 Crestwood Boulevard South Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
