With profound love and heartfelt gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the life of Karl Henry Lamarre, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, loyal friend, gifted craftsman, and proud grandfather whose kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family touched everyone who knew him.
Karl Henry Lamarre was born on April 14, 1961, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Windsor Lamarre and Marie Rose Lemaitre. From an early age, he displayed remarkable determination, creativity, and a willingness to help others-qualities that would define his life.
On September 30, 1989, Karl married the love of his life, Marie Lamarre. Together they built a marriage founded on faith, love, perseverance, and commitment. In 1991, Karl made the courageous decision to move to the United States in pursuit of greater opportunities, determined to provide a better life for his wife and future family. Through hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication, he fulfilled that dream.
Karl was a man of many talents. He built a successful career in remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, earning a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, honesty, and reliability. He was extremely handy and could do it all - painting, mechanics, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, gardening, and home repairs. If something needed to be done, Karl was the one everyone called. He was a dependable, resourceful man who always found a way.
Karl loved the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep passion for gardening and took great pride in growing beautiful flowers and plants. He was creative in every sense—he played a variety of musical instruments and enjoyed making things with his hands. Whether he was fixing, building, planting, or painting, he did it with excellence and heart.
Above all else, Karl's greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather. He adored his grandchildren and found immense happiness in every moment spent with them. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy in his grandchildren, Seven and Saveah, who will forever hold a special place in his heart. His family was always his highest priority, and he never left their side. His love, guidance, and sacrifices will continue to shape their lives for generations to come.
Karl leaves to cherish his precious memory his beloved wife, Marie Lamarre; his loving children, Vanessa Lamarre and Karlrick Lamarre; his adored grandchildren, Seven and Saveah; his cherished siblings, Evelyn Lamarre, Ernest Lamarre, Richard Lamarre, Lionel Lamarre, Maryse Lamarre, Serge Lamarre, and Yves Lamarre; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice knowing that Karl's love, wisdom, hard work, and legacy will live on in the lives he touched. His example of faith, strength, compassion, and devotion to family will forever remain an inspiration.
