Karen Diane Sims

Karen Diane Sims, 75, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on January 17, 2023. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Diane was kind, generous, funny. She loved everyone and enjoyed making friends everywhere she went. She loved the Lord and was looking forward to being with Jesus in heaven one day. Even though she suffered a lot illness throughout her entire life, she treated everyone who came into her home like family. She was an avid Alabama football fan. She enjoyed entertaining and never met a stranger. We can find comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering, that she is healed and in the presence of her savior. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, her grandson, Blake, her parents and two siblings, Coy and Connie. She is survived by her daughter Angel Maharrey (Rodney) of West Palm Beach, FL, her son Skip Tallmage (Suprena) of Prattville, AL and two step-children, Rusty and Teresa Sims, both of Birmingham, AL. Grandchildren: Chase Maharrey (Jamie), Dylan Maharrey (Jessica), Gracie Maharrey, Alexa Maharrey, Taylor Wainwright (Daniel), Ryan Tallmage, Bradley Tallmage, Will Butts, Maggie Jones (Josh). Great grandchildren: Ellie, Morgan, Tatum, Will, Annie and Lizzie. Brother Gerald Brown and sister Shirley Ledlow, both of Birmingham, AL, as well as many nieces and nephews that she adored. Arrangements are pending but there will be a celebration of her life at a later time, likely in the summer and we will take her home to her sweet home Alabama.
