Karen Ann Gleber

Karen Ann Gleber, age 60, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Karen was a native of New Orleans, a graduate of John Curtis Christian High, and a resident of Lake Worth, Florida for 15 years. Karen is survived by her devoted husband Samuel Kirk Millspaugh; Step mother, Carol Ann Gleber, sisters-in-law Nancy Sentilles Gleber, Nancy Byxbee and Jody Drayton (Thomas Hollowell); nephews James Patrick Gleber (Amanda Rodrigues), Michael John Gleber, and Mark Daniel Gleber (Amelia); great nephews; Mason, John, Lucas, River, and Jackson; great niece, Nora-Ann. Karen is preceded in death by her parents Marlene Dutreix Gleber and John Gleber, Jr.; brothers, John Gleber, III and infant James Patrick Gleber, great nephew infant Oliver Michael Gleber. She is now reunited with her family who passed before her and rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Karen enjoyed her career in customer service especially her many years with Publix. She brought much love and sunshine to those who knew her best. Karen loved all things beautiful, especially the Turks and Caicos, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Karen loved to celebrate all occasions, the big and the little things in her life. She loved capturing the moments with many pictures. Karen was a huge sports fan and had a passion for the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. Visitation will be held Monday, September 15th at Palms West Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese de Lisieux at 10:30 a.m. followed by committal service at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery. There will be a reception at Carraba's Italian Grill, Southern Blvd; all are welcome.
