Judy Morin Kirouac

Judy Morin Kirouac, 73, of Loxahatchee, Florida, passed away on August 29, 2026.

Born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Judy was the daughter of the late Paul and Violet Morin.

Judy is survived by her husband, Ed Kirouac; her children, Laura Welborn and Kenny Jimenez; her grandchildren, Rachael Welborn and her fiancé, Nick Jauregui, Steven Welborn, and Rebecca Welborn and her fiancé, Xander Sullender; and her sister, Susan Junghanns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Violet Morin, and her son-in-law, Michael Welborn.

Judy was creative, resourceful, strong-willed, and, as those who loved her knew well, wonderfully stubborn. A homemaker at heart, she had a gift for creating beautiful things and making a home feel special. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, crafts, making dolls, interior decorating, and cake decorating. When her children were young, she put those talents to use in ways that became treasured memories, including sewing clothes for Laura’s Barbie dolls and even making her an adoption doll when buying one wasn’t in the family budget.

Judy was also incredibly thoughtful and intentional in the ways she showed people she cared. Whether it was a card, a letter, a handmade creation, or a carefully chosen gift, she put thought into the details and wanted what she gave to have meaning for the person receiving it. Those personal touches were part of the way Judy expressed her love, and many of them will be treasured for years to come.

She loved cooking and baking, fishing, and, in her younger years, sailing. In her final days, one of the simple pleasures she enjoyed most was playing Scrabble with Ed.

Judy’s deep faith was an important part of her life, as was her love for her family. She loved deeply in her own unmistakable way. The things she created, the words she wrote, the traditions she passed along, and the memories she made will remain with those who loved her.

Judy’s life will be honored by her family in a private ceremony at a later date.
