Judith Ruth Sikora

Judith Ruth Sikora, age 74 of Boynton Beach, Florida, died Thursday, August 3, 2017. She was born in Evanston, Illinois to the late Francis Munson and Ruth Feilen Munson. She graduated from Main East High School in Park Ridge, Illinois in 1961 and in the early 1960's married Michael Robert Sikora raising 4 children in Buffalo Grove and Algonquin, Illinois. In 1992, Judith moved to Boynton Beach, Florida where she worked as a hair dresser and private duty nurse. She loved going to the pool with all her grandkids, driving around in her convertible PT Cruiser with her heavy foot and loved working in her yard, which she was known as the rose lady. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic church in Boynton Beach. She is survived by 2 sons; Michael Sikora of Channahon, Illinois and Daniel (Dawn) Sikora also of Channahon, Illinois, one daughter; Michele (Jason) Porcelli also of Boynton Beach, Florida and 2 brothers Steve Munson (Pat) of Crystal Lake, Illinois and Mike Munson (Beth) of Maumelle, Arkansas, 6 grandchildren (Michael, Nico, Danielle, Vincent, Krystal and Alexa) and 2 great grandchildren (Antonella and Michael). Judith is pre-deceased by her daughter Deborah Sikora Selvaggio who passed away in 2015. There will be a visitation Monday, August 7, 2017 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Palms West Funeral Home, Royal Palm Beach with a funeral service at the same location at 11:00am, officiated by a Priest from St. Matthew's Church. Judy's final resting place will be with her mother and daughter at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach.
