Juan A. Rodriguez, de 84 años, falleció en paz rodeado de la familia que amó profundamente.

Nacido en Guayaquil, Ecuador, Juan llegó a los Estados Unidos en su juventud con la determinación y el empuje que definirían su vida. Construyó una carrera como técnico dental, un trabajo que reflejaba su precisión, su orgullo y su don natural para hacer que las personas se sintieran bienvenidas.

Pero no fue el trabajo lo que definió a Juan — fue su familia.

En cada fotografía, en cada recuerdo que sus seres queridos guardan, Juan está rodeado de las personas que más amaba. En graduaciones, en fiestas de cumpleaños, en cada reunión grande o pequeña — él estaba ahí. Presente. Alegre. Exactamente donde quería estar. Solía decir que nada lo hacía más feliz que ver a su familia unida y junta, y dedicó su vida a asegurarse de que así fuera.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, su hijo y nuera, su hija y yerno, y seis nietos que llevarán su amor hacia adelante.

Juan estuvo presente en cada celebración que la vida le ofreció — y la hizo mejor simplemente con su presencia. Su ausencia se sentirá en cada lugar donde su familia se reúna. Su presencia también.

Juan A. Rodriguez, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by the family he loved so deeply.

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Juan came to the United States in his twenties with the drive and determination that would define his life. He built a career as a dental technician, work that reflected his precision, his pride, and his natural gift for making people feel welcome.

But it was not work that defined Juan — it was family.

In every photograph, in every memory his loved ones carry, Juan is surrounded by the people he cherished most. At graduations, at birthday parties, at every gathering large and small — he was there. Present. Joyful. Exactly where he wanted to be. He often said that nothing made him happier than seeing his family united and together, and he spent his life making sure they were.

He is survived by his beloved wife, his son and daughter-in-law, his daughter and son-in-law, and six grandchildren who will carry his love forward.

Juan showed up for every celebration life offered — and made each one better simply by being there. His absence will be felt in every room his family gathers in. His presence will be felt there too.
