Jovita P. Villarreal, 74, our beloved mother and grandmother, joined her eternal companion, Santiago, on April 19th at home surrounded by her loving family. Their love story began in 1964 . They were married for 55 beautiful years . Jovita was born on September 28,1946 in Edinburg ,Texas to Jose and Luciana Poblano. She is survived by her beloved mother , Luciana Poblano. Her 4 her children: Rosalind Cardona, Victoria Kuehner ( Ron ) Santiago Villarreal Jr. ( Monica ) and Alejandro Villarreal; Eight grandchildren: Joseph, Nicole, Santiago, Zachary, Joshua, Jaden, Arturo and Selena; brother: David Poblano(Nora), Sisters: Rafaela Villarreal( Joe ), Dalia Martinez( Cipriano), Belicia Cavazos ( Ramiro ) She was preceded in death by her sisters, Teresa Mercado and Mariana Avila. Her brothers: Isidro Poblano, Sr.; Domingo Poblano Sr.; Jesus Delfino Poblano, Sr.; and Crescencio Poblano ; Her husband , Santiago Villarreal and youngest daughter, Victoriana Villarreal. Jovita worked at Nye Brands for over 10 years as a managing supervisor wherein she would oversee the company's overall production of various foliage, running the day to day operations of the nursery and was in charge of over 75 employees. In 1982 Jovita began her driving career with CoTran of Palm Beach County until 1985 when she became driver for her husband, Santiago, driving a tractor trailer , wherein they traveled out of state weekly until they both retired in 1989. Jovita loved going to dances where you would often find her and her brother in law, David, on the dance floor dancing to the chotis. She also loved gardening and was very proud of the aray of fruits and vegetables she was growing. She also loved cooking for her family as it was her favorite time to spend with her loved ones. Jovita was a member of Christ Fellowship for 14 years . She loved God , Country and her family. A true Chicana from South Texas. She was so proud of her family history and culture. Considered a mom to many and sister to others . Her home was always open . She never turned away from helping someone no matter what they needed . Jovita was a prayer warrior. She only wanted the best for everyone . Her best times she often said was when the entire family gathered . A room full of joy and laughter was medicine to her soul . She has the most beautiful heart. A smile that would light up a room. She will be deeply missed . Memorial service for Jovita will be held at Christ Fellowship Royal Palm Beach at 9905 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach on Tuesday, May 4th at 10am.
