Joseph W. Schuessler

JOSEPH W. SCHUESSLER, 76 of Royal Palm Beach, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on January 15, 2018. He was born February 16, 1941 to Robert J. Schuessler and Helen (Frenzel) Galarneau in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Diane. Two daughters, Raquel (Matthew) Back and Stacey Guevara. Three granddaughters, Rowan Back, Stephanie Gavino and Alivia Gavino. A sister Adrianne (Bill) Halford. Joe was a very active Boy Scout and was honored to be the youngest recipient of the Eagle Scout Award in Palm Beach County. He was an alumnus of University of Florida. He was a General Contractor and focused his work in Southeast FL. Joe was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Apostles, Catholic Church. He was an active participant in his church, including being a booth captain for the annual Church Festival. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 12376. The family requests in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to Trust Bridge Health (Hospice). Visitation is Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL. A funeral mass will follow at noon at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles.
