Joseph Robert Knapp, 62, of West Palm Beach, Florida died January 19, 2021 after a battle with metastatic bladder cancer. He is at peace now and home in the arms of the Lord. Joe was born in Patterson, New Jersey on January 1, 1959 to Robert and Natalie Knapp and relocated with his family to Florida in 1973. After graduation from Twin Lakes High School in West Palm Beach in 1977, Joe attended Palm Beach State College and began his career as a marketer for various companies throughout the years where he excelled at his jobs. His passions in life included his love for animals and creating music. Joe was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing guitar and keyboards in local bands. He also wrote music as a hobby, some of which he had secured a copyright. Although he did not marry, Joseph had long and committed relationships with several women over the course of his life of who he spoke fondly before he passed away. Joseph was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his sister, Vivian (Steve) Logan of Royal Palm Beach, brother, Robert Knapp of West Palm Beach, sister Natalie (Mario) Pena, nephew Gino Pena and Niece, Gianna Pena of Wellington. He leaves behind his cherished retriever, Holly whom he adored. A private Catholic Requiem Mass will be held January 28, 2021 at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church in Royal Palm Beach.
