Joseph E. Guarnieri

Joseph E. Guarnieri "Papa Joe" Age 91, passed away June 3, 2011 at Hospice of Palm Beach County. Born September 17, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio and moved to South Florida in 1958. He was predeceased in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Jane DelVesco. Papa Joe served in the U.S. Army during World War 11. He was commended with many Decorations and Citations and he will always be our hero. He is survived by his four children. Edward, Michael, John and daughter, Carmel Jean Bell. Eight Grandchildren, Jamie Durrence (Jeff), Jason Bell, Carisa Tierney (Joe), Anthony Guarnieri, Shanna and Joseph Guarnieri, Tiffany and Briana Guarnieri. Two Great granddaughters, Joslyn Durrence and Olivia Tierney. Brother in law Michael DelVesco (Leigh) and many nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Visitation will be Monday, June 13th at 11:00 am. Service at 12:00 noon. Palms West Funeral Home, 600 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, Fl. 33411, Burial immediately following at the South Florida National Cemetery.
