Surrounded by his children, Joseph L. Collins, 95, passed away peacefully on April 5th. He was a man of his generation - humble, hard-working, and resourceful. Talents and interests were plenty. Joe's home was filled with music, his life-long passion. He started a 17-piece dance band and played trombone in many area bands. He enjoyed writing poetry and improvising songs. An engineer at Pratt & Whitney by profession, he cultivated an avid interest in financial investing, coin collecting and antiques. A devoted husband to Edna before her passing and loving father to Marsha, Krista (Bill), Jaci (Jack), Chip (Kelly), Cindy (Raymond), and Jeff, he has left many wonderful memories. His children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends will sorely miss this kind and generous man. Visitation will be held on Friday May 3rd from 6 to 8pm at Palms West Funeral Home in RPB. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday May 4th at 11am at St. Clare Catholic Church in NPB. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Jupiter. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Mendedhearts.org.
