Born on February 6, 1927 in Marchand Dessalines, Haiti to Joseph Evangile Charlot and Ismenie Jean-Baptiste, he was the oldest of seven children. Duperman was very loving, caring, and proud of his family. He is survived by his wife Marie Idovia Noel-Charlot of 55 years, his sons: Eddy, Marc, Garry and Claude Charlot, daughters: Pascale Viel and Josiane Charlot, grandchildren: Tatiana, Carl Henry, Jeffrey and Alexa Charlot, Richard and Juana Viel, Olivier Joseph, as well as his brothers: Beausejour, Nola, Brother Mathurin, and Dr. Anoux Charlot and sisters: Lucie Cadet and Neila Charlot. Duperman grew up and went to school in Marchand Dessalines, Haiti. He completed his higher education and professional training in Public Health and medical services in Port-au-Prince. He worked at Saint Nicholas Hospital in Saint Marc and managed the Public Health Department for the commune of Saint Marc for over 20 years. In addition, Duperman operated his own health clinic and provided primary healthcare services to many in Saint Marc and its surrounding areas. He also was a cultivator, a farmer and was very conscious of preserving the environment. On August 1981, Duperman immigrated to the United States with his wife and children, and made Boston, MA his new home. He continued to work hard and be very supportive of not only his wife and children, but also his relatives and friends. He earned his living working for many organizations, and retired from Carney Hospital in Dorchester, MA at the age of 82. He then moved to West Palm Beach, FL in April 2011. Couple years later, his health started to deteriorate. After courageously supported his sickness, he lost his battle and expired on May 25, 2015 at 3:00 am. Duperman used to enjoy sports, gardening, and spending quality time with his family and friends. Duperman will be dearly missed and will be laid to rest peacefully at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, and Florida 33411. Pax Animae Suae
