Joseph P. Bisignano

Wellington, FL - Joseph Patrick Bisignano passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 85 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Vincent Bisignano, his sister Philomena "Mena" Bond and brother Vincent "Sonny" Bisignano. Originally from Harrison, New York, Joe relocated and spent most of his life in South Florida (Miami then Wellington area) where he raised his children who survive him: Gregory (Desiree), Bonnie (Brian), Joey (Kelly), June, Marianne & Gina. He is also survived by his grandchildren Christian, Dustin, Bella, Ava, Joey, Tyler, Jill, Nick, Teddy, Derek, Vincent and Robin. Surviving him also is his sister, Rita Bisignano. Diane Bisignano, his wife of 47 years, remained a steadfast caregiver and companion throughout Joe's final years. They shared many outstanding years of travel, family gatherings, humor and of course food. An avid cook, Joe was known for his delicious meals including his ricotta pancakes, anything Italian and the best homemade pizza. His place of peace was always in the North Carolina mountains (near Boone) where they frequently visited since the 80's. As a Dolphins fan, he loved Dan Marino, Don Shula and Bob Griese with his prized memory being the undefeated 72' Dolphins. Professionally, "Joe Biz" worked for Burger King Corporation for 20 years (working and golfing with the founder, Jim McLamore), which led to him and Diane purchasing 3 Burger King franchises in Palm Beach County for the next 20 years. Services will take place at Palms West Funeral home in Royal Palm Beach on Sunday, January 26th. Viewing will be from 1-3pm with a service to follow at 3pm.
