With deep respect and enduring love, we honor the life of Jose Manuel Ysidro, who passed on February 19th, 2024. Born on October 21st, 1925 begging 98 years old, Jose's life was filled with extraordinary moments that marked his journey from Cuba to the United States, where he became a proud citizen on June 24th, 1958. His life was a beautiful testament to the strength of the human spirit, exhibiting characteristics of courage, charisma, thoughtfulness, and resilience that will forever be his legacy. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Magnolia Ysidro; his sister Panchita Isidro, and Niezes Isidro; his children Yolanda Doucet, and Michael Ysidro; and his grandson Wayne Doucet. A courageous U.S. Army Veteran, Jose brought his resilient spirit and charismatic personality into every aspect of his life. He was passionate about fishing and gardening, finding solace and joy in the simplicity and beauty nature offered. Yet, what mattered most to Jose was his family, whom he loved unconditionally. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother, leaving behind a rich tapestry of memories for his loved ones. His surviving family includes his children Alan Ysidro (Tawyna), Ricky Ysidro (Matilda), Jose Isidro Jr., David Ysidro, Mia Bush, Gilda Monk, Mary Soofi, Carlo Juncal, Michael Juncal Sr (Michelle), and Anthony Juncal Sr (Sue).; his grandchildren Hilda Ortega, Jose Isidro, Stacie Ysidro, Tim Ysidro, Adrian Bush, Jason Monk, Shayna Doucet, Brittany Ysidro, Megan Rose, Hayden Ysidro, Mia Ysidro, Austin Ysidro, Amber Soofi, Ali Soofi, Caleena Young, Manuel Juncal, Michael Juncal Jr., Matthew Juncal, Magen Juncal, and Anthony Juncal Jr.; his siblings Poncho Isidro, Isabell Lamb, Lucita Isidro, and Juanita Fuentez. Jose is also survived by several great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends to mourn his passing. A celebration of Jose's life will take place on Saturday, February 24th, 2024, at 4:00 pm at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., located at 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, Florida, 33411. As we gather to remember and honor Jose's life, we will cherish the wisdom he imparted, the stories he shared, and the love he gave. In the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Jose's legacy of love, courage, and resilience will continue to inspire his family and everyone who knew him.
