Jose Manuel Govantes

Jose Govantes, 60, of Greenacres, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2021 after a strong fight with COVID-19. Jose was born in New York on August 19, 1960 to his mother Maria Frances. At a later date he relocated to Florida. He is survived by his loving wife Debora Govantes, and his daughter Alexis Renasci. He is also survived by his three siblings, sister Elena Tamayo, brother George Govantes, and brother Robert Govantes. Jose has many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews that love him dearly. He is loved and will be deeply missed by everyone. Services will be on March 31, 2021 beginning at 2 p.m. at Palms West Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Diabetes Foundation in Jose's name.
