Jose Antonio Mendez

Jose Antonio Mendez, 83, of Loxahatchee, Florida, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Born in Bogota, Colombia, he was the son of Marco Antonio and Maria Elisa (Rodriguez) Mendez. Jose's memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Gladys (Moreno) Mendez; children, Jackie (John) Zvirblis, Ruth Marie Martinez, Lola (Armando) Bernal, Marlen Mendez, Mercedes Mendez, Jerry (Jody) Moreno and Oscar (Vanessa) Mendez; sister, Beatrice Rubiano; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchilren. A memorial gathering will be held at 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Palms West Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 7:45 PM.
