Jorge Emilio Palomo

Age 60 of Loxahatchee, FL. Survived by wife, Betty Berta Palomo; daughter, Betty (Juan) Veintemilla of Woodbridge, VA; son, Edwin (Ashley) Palomo of Locust grove, VA; son, Jorge Palomo of Royal Palm Beach, FL; son, Patrick Rowan of Balton, VA; six brothers and one sister; grandfather of 10. Husband, father, grandfather and brother, Jorge Palomo suddenly passed away November 19, 2018 in Florida. Jorge Palomo immigrated to the United States from Peru in the late 1970's. His driving force was to live the American dream, to establish himself and provide a better life for his family. Driven by the love of his family, he soon established financially and he then brought his family over from Peru; his wife Betty, his daughter Betty and his three sons Edwin, Jorge Jr, and Patrick. They all settled into Adams Morgan, Washington DC. Jorge's perseverance paid off and started his own stone mason company. He soon moved his family to Springfield, VA where his children and his business continued to flourish. His wife Betty worked for Fairfax County School System. His stone mason craftsmanship was breathless. Listening to his clients wishes he created master pieces for their homes. All of them were unique and complement the homes and landscape. Jorge had a heart of gold and never turned his back on people. He knew how hard it was because he walked in those same shoes. He loved his culture and never forgot his roots. Jorge leaves behind his wife of over 40 years, four children, eight grandchildren, six brothers and one sister. Jorge left more than a legacy, he left us with the knowledge that determination is the key to success.
