It is with a broken heart that we have to announce that Dr. Jorge Luis Inga was called by the Lord on May the 18th. He had a wonderful soul, a generous heart and a bright mind. He was a beacon of light to all of those around him. He was born in Lima, Peru and was raised in Tampa since a very early age. He attended Christ the King Catholic Elementary School and then the Jesuit High School in Tampa. He went on to college at Tulane University in New Orleans where he graduated with a major in Biology. He attended Medical School in Guadalajara and graduated from Medical School at New York Medical college in New York. He specialized in Family Practice at Ohio State University where he was named Resident of the year on two occasions. His compassion and dedication to his patients were evident since the beginning, and he was an example to all. He was lighthearted, with an easy smile and a keen sense of humor. He moved to West Palm Beach in 2001 where he joined The Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches. During his years in practice, he showed complete dedication and love for his patients who in return loved him as well. He founded MD Spots an Internet Corporation that gave another source of pride and satisfaction being able to help his colleagues. He was the dear son of Dr. Jorge J. Inga a neurosurgeon in Tampa and Francisca Inga who loved him very much and witnessed his vocation for medicine since an early age. His sister Maria Fe Luttrell and his brother Jorge Edward Inga loved him dearly while sharing their lives together at home and in college. While in college he met the love of his life Alison Stocks from Albany, Georgia. Their beautiful wedding at St. Simon Island is still in the memory of all who attended it. They were blessed with three wonderful children Nicholas, Gabrielle, and Emilie who shared wonderful moments with their parents. His mother in law, Linda Stocks was also a dear part of their life. He will live in the hearts of his niece Sienna and his nephew, Pierce. He was a dear friend of his brother in law Shaun Luttrell. He was also loved very much by his grandmother Sara his aunt Sara Cisneros his uncle Cesar Inga and his many cousins. Jorge Luis was a devoted Catholic who understood from an early age that the three fundamentals reasons for life are to be the best in whatever endeavor you are committed to helping and teaching others and also enjoying the gift of life that God gave us. He enjoyed boating and traveling abroad with his family. He was also an accomplished snowboarder and an excellent cook. His memory will live forever in the mind and the heart of his many friends who surrounded him throughout his life, his patients and all who for one reason or other got in contact with him. God took back to his side one of his dear sons. Visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Monday, May 21st from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Rita Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 22nd at 11:00 AM entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
