John "Jack" Fowler Simpson John "Jack" Fowler Simpson, age 86, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away quietly on April 18, 2016. Jack was born in New York on September 26, 1929. After graduating from high school he enlisted in the Army Air Force during the Korean War. He then attended and graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA. There he held the high jump record for over 30 years. His record was finally broken by his nephew, Jeffrey Simpson. Jack was employed for over 35 years by the Alexander Proudfoot Company, an international consulting firm. There he held many positions culminating in President and Partner. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John and Irma Simpson, and by his only brother, Thomas R Simpson. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family. Jack is survived by his wife Betty and their children, Kimberly Nicole Simpson, John R. Simpson, Sean Simpson, Jennifer Simpson Vietro, Alysia WolfsKeil, Susan Scott and Jean Simpson and his grandchildren John Anthony and Amanda Simpson; Sophia and Eden Vietro; Sidonie and Isabella WolfsKeil and Logan Torrence. Interment will be at the Veterans Cemetery located on State Road 441, Lake Worth, Florida on Friday, May 6, 2016, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers a donation to West Palm Beach Hospice would be very much appreciated.
