John Robert Olson

JR Olson lived the last 19 years of his life in West Palm Beach, Florida, during his time here he had the pleasure of working at Upledger Institute International where he was the Director of Community Relations. John loved and was dearly loved by his family, and many friends across the world. He thoroughly enjoyed life to the fullest and any and every chance he could to throw a party. And he threw the best parties! He loved animals, reading, the beach, cruises, travel in general, and most of all spending time with his loved ones. One of his most recent joys was taking care of his house and property and creating a beautiful home for his mom and beloved Dany. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Olson and step-father Richard Preece. JR is survived by his partner, Dany Xavier; his mother Janice; brother Paul, his wife Livier, their children Alex and Kayley; his sister Sarah, her husband Benjie, and their children Summer and Aiden. He also leaves behind his goddaughter Murphie, his best friends Michele, Jerry, Alex, Leslie, David and many other family and friends. Not to be forgotten are his beloved pets: Moemoe, Trystan, Bear, Sparkie, Woolie, Boo Kitty, Caesar, Esther, and Henrietta. The visitation and service will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 from 6 - 8 pm at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, Florida.
